Weekly Newsletter

Here’s our weekly newsletter!
Another beautiful filmprogramm this month!

Because the Library House people are still alive and kicking but just a tiny little bit exhausted ( you know, dissertation-stress and all that..)
We would like to be only ‘open’ at days of events, so please make sure those are the days you come and bother us, drink coffee, hang out in the garden, do the dishes etc  ;) Be welcome!

Love and lots, lots of coffee!

==Tuesday 1st 8pm==
*Weekly Collective meeting*
This is a good chance to talk to the collective if you want to have an
event in the space or to find out more about getting involved there.

==Tuesday 1st 7-9pm==
We are a group of people sharing and learning some capoeira. We want to have fun while finding our roots. If the weather is nice, we should go in the park. We usually practice movements, make a rodinha and play live music. We have all we need: good mood, a lot of energy and willingness to learn. Sessions are free, and you are more than welcome to join us!

==Wednesday 2nd 8pm onwards==

*Summer Cinema Night*

“Lessons in Darkness” / “Lektionen in Finsternis”
Documentary by Werner Herzog
This film shows the disaster of the Kuwaitian oil fields in flames.
In contrast to the common documentary film there are no comments and few interviews.
What must have been the hell itself is presented to the viewer in such beautiful sights and beautiful music that one has to be fascinated by it. The German title translates ‘lessons in darkness’. Written by Oliver Heidelbach.

== afternoon onwards ==
This a reaction on the contemporary cosumption society and ‘culture of waste’. Is your house clogging up with stuff you actually dont need? Bring it to the Freeshop and sure you will make other people happy with it. The Freeshop is not based on the ‘swapping-principle’ so you can both come to only bring stuff or collect stuff or both…. The Freeshop is for everyone!

==Thursday 3rd 6:30pm – 8:00pm==

*English – Spanish language exchange/lessons*
Come along if either English or Spanish is the language you speak or want to learn.
Why go to expensive institutes if we can share our skills?
